The Alabama Brewers Guild and the Birmingham Originals are partnering on a unique event on March 14. Eat Drink Birmingham is a beer and food pairing experience that showcases the city’s amazing culinary culture.
Real beer and real food are the perfect match. Most people think of pairing food with wine, but beer can go places that wine cannot. Beer has bitterness to slice through the fat, carbonation to refresh the palate, caramelized flavors to match those in your food, and sweetness to quench the fire of chilies. The diversity of real beer means that it can be successfully paired with more cuisine.
Guests at this inaugural event enjoy unlimited samples of signature dishes from independent Birmingham restaurants that have been expertly-paired with a variety of excellent craft beers.
